A delegation of universities in Peru and Chile visited ICHEI
Ms. Bi Xiaohan extended a warm welcome to the delegates, highlighting the meeting as a pivotal moment to foster mutual understanding and discuss potential collaboration. Prof. Alejandro Cruzata Martinez, President of the Lord of Sipan University, Mr. Javier Hugo Moran Ruiz, Dean of the School of Engineering of the Saint Ignatius Loyola University, Mr. Alberto Garrrido, Deputy Director of the Project Management Office of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and Mr. Marco Melo, Subdirector of Operation IT of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, introduced their practices on digital teaching, management, and transformation, meanwhile exploring opportunities to collaborate with UNESCO-ICHEI and SUSTech.

UNESCO-ICHEI presented its global partnership network, IIOE and key projects such as micro-certification, and smart classroom, while also reflecting on previous collaborations within the Latin America and Caribbean region. Representatives from SUSTech Global introduced the progress of school operation and international student admission. The universities' delegates shared insights into their development and international partnerships with various universities, businesses, and organisations. The meeting facilitated initial discussions on collaborative opportunities in areas such as partnership network expansion, co-development and localisation of IIOE content in Spanish, industry-academic collaboration, and the organisation of joint regional events and initiatives. Post-meeting, the UNESCO-ICHEI delegation guided visitors through IIOE AI Lab.

About Lord of Sipan University (Peru) Saint Ignatius Loyola University (USIL) is a private higher education and research institution located in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1995 by Raúl Diez Canseco. The main campus is situated in the district of La Molina, with four sub-campuses in Pachacamac, Huachipa, Independence and Magdalena, with additional lectures, research, seminars and sports facilities.
