Mongolian University of Science and Technology was established in 1969 and was formerly part of the National University of Mongolia. Located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, the university occupies a vast campus and is the country's leading public institution as well as a central hub for scientific and cultural exchange. Statistics show that more than two-thirds of students nationwide graduate from this university. MUST comprises 17 academic faculties, 3 research centers, and 36 scientific laboratories. Currently, the university has over 22,000 students, including international students, 120 professors, and more than 1,000 staff responsible for teaching, research activities, and university administration.
